Morkie Puppies Minden Ontario
You may ask yourself what are Morkies. Morkies are a blend between a Yorkshire terrier and Maltase. They are hypoallergenic and non shedding. I have been breeding since 2014 and our puppies are in-home raised from birth. We have great success when handling our puppies from that stage, it provides both temperament and intelligence and our puppies are social and very outgoing in nature. We are located in Minden Ontario. We work very hard to ensure that all of our puppies are on their way to being pee pad trained before going to their forever homes. We do a follow-up to make sure all puppies are doing well and our customers know at any time we are there for them. Morkies are a wonderful breed for any family because of the minimal maintenance and huge amounts of love to offer and they get along with everyone they meet. Highly affectionate and sociable, Morkies are a great choice for singles, older couples and seniors, and with early socialization of Morkie puppies, they become the perfect family pet..

Tips for Bringing Home a New Puppy…
1. Potty Training - When the puppy moves into their new home, it's important to continue pee pad training. It's necessary that puppies have a distinct washroom area so that they can establish a pattern and feel comfortable about where they go.
2. Introducing them to their New Home - It's important that the puppy understands where their food and water are kept. It's a good idea to establish a routine for them so they know where to go. Remember that, while you may have been looking forward to your puppy's arrival, he or she will find the shift in environment sudden and surprising. It may take a few weeks for your puppy to adjust. Patience, consistency, and time will all aid your new puppy's transition.
3. The Puppies Safe Place - Puppies sleep 15 to 20 hours a day, so bring him or her to their crate or dog bed when they appear to be ready for a nap or bedtime, even if they will just lay down. Dogs love the protection and safety of a safe place, and with enough encouragement, this cage or doggie bed will become his or her safe place until they are fully adjusted and feel secure.
4. Toys - Having a variety of chew toys for the puppy to play with is essential since you want to teach a puppy at an early age that chewing someone's fingers or pant legs is not acceptable. Getting your puppy used to chew toys is a great way to ensure that he or she will behave and not chew on things they shouldn't.
5. Rewarding Good Behavior - It is very good to reward the puppy when they use the washroom where they are supposed to because they will realize what they did was a good thing and will continue to do it. When most individuals think of positive reinforcement, they think of food rewards. Treats are quick and easy to give out, and they're a terrific method to immediately reward good behavior.
6. Give it Time - It's important to be patient and allow your dog to settle in at their own pace. Some dogs will feel at ease in a new environment within a few days, while others will need a few weeks to adjust. Some dogs may take months or more to feel at ease in a new environment. Your patience, no matter how long it takes your dog to adjust, is more likely to speed things up. Everything takes time, so just remember to be patient and everything will happen when it is supposed to.
